Bond No. 9 New Bond St.

Bond No. 9 New Bond St. is a loud, polished cacao-coffee gourmand with strong personality, but the sweetness, price, and limited wearability pull it down for me.

OnlyFumes take

New Bond St. smells like a red velvet lounge with chocolate, coffee, spice, and polished wood in the air. It is bold, sweet, warm, and built for attention. I like that it has more personality than a basic vanilla gourmand. I also think it is too loud, too sweet, and too expensive to be an easy recommendation. For me, this is interesting and memorable, but it lands more as a 6.8 than a must-own niche bottle.

Scent journey

How this one moves

01

First read

Bond No. 9 New Bond St. is a loud, polished cacao-coffee gourmand with strong personality, but the sweetness, price, and limited wearability pull it down for me.

02

How it wears

Performance is a strength here: I would expect about 7 hours of longevity, with strong sillage early and a noticeable trail for the first part of the wear. Wearability is more limited. This is a fall, winter, night-out, dressed-up fragrance, and it can get too sweet and loud if I overspray it. Value is the bigger issue: the scent has personality, but at Bond No. 9 pricing, this is not an easy full-bottle recommendation for me.
